I'm looking for some advanced books on XML. Perhaps ones that take web services into account but still focus on the core of XML and what the latest features/tools are. Any suggestions?

What I do when I am looking for a good book is I check out Barnes&Noble.com. They have a huge assortment of books and many of the books have reviews from customers that have bought and read them.

Or eBay, eBay has a lot of stuff. I think they have a whole section of books; I mean, I know they have a whole section on books.

I like Applied XML Programming for Microsoft .NET by Microsoft Press. It might be a little dated now, but it has some advanced info on XML and it ties in really well with the .NET programming language that has become very popular.

Majority of books I have found are like XML for dummies and learning XML. There are not very many books directed toward learning advance XML. Good luck in your search. You may check with a university technology/computer professor too. They usually have quite a bit of insight into XML books since some of them teach it.

I was just going to ask about beginner books. I wanted to find out more about getting started with it. I am going to have to check those titles out.
