This is a very good hosting windows or Linux.

The open source apps are very intact but you can't access the directory files to customise.

I don't like GoDaddy (do they call their hosting HostDaddy, that would be good), they don't have cPanel. I need me my cPanel.

They do have Cpanel you just have to choose the Linix option. I think a lot of people choose the windows hosting but don't see that the Cpanel is available if you review their exhaustive offerings. But it's possible at your level of tier service they don't have it. Sometimes it's purely a reseller package option.

How much does godaddy charge? I've never really looked into their service.

I haven't used godaddy before but I know a few people that do. They seem to like it and I don't think it is very expensive.

GoDaddy is one of the cheapest hosting plans that give the most megabyte storage and bandwidth. I use GoDaddy and I like it, I also have all my domains with them.

If you're looking for a good Windows based alternative you should check out http://aspnix.com who offer a very cheap and excellent solution. I used to use webhost4life, but they just got too slow for my liking.

I am currently using godaddy for one of my sites. I haven't had any problems with it and the price is pretty cheap.
