Has anybody else been getting lots and lots of stock related spam lately? I get e-mails almost every day with ticket symbols and a bunch of garbage telling me to buy the stock. I have no idea how I started getting this, but it's frustrating and needs to be stopped somehow.

I get the same thing on my blackberry. My regular email accounts I don't get these kind of emails. Most of the emails that are Spam that I get are "You won the lottery" "Click this button to claim your prize" and it will show my name listed with about 20 other names where it shows my money is pending.

It's getting so bad on my side that I'm almost considering buying the stocks just to make them stop :) Honestly though, it's driving me crazy and I am missing valuable e-mails because my inbox is flooded with junk.

I like to track down the company and forward the spam with a note thanking them for sending me a notice of their impending bankruptcy. I figure the only reason they spam their stocks is to try and save the company from going down the tubes.
