It seems there are a bunch of SEO contests out there. The goal seems to be getting the highest ranking on some obscure word or phrase such as:

V7ndotcom, Elursrebmem, Carcasherdotcom, SEOcontest , ambatchdotcom, seocontest and/or other equally unique searches.

I suppose the ultimate goal would be to show you have some great expertise in Search Engine Optimization.

Yes, I would suggest that a contest using previously unused and ambigious terms has no relation to SEO in the real world.

Take a keyword such as windows. It it used 1.4 billion times in Google.

All of the advertisements in Google seem to relate to windows you have on your house. Yet, the #1 listing in Google, is not surprisingly Microsoft.

Now, I would like to see an SEO contest involving windows as it is a challenging term: it is already in use in more than a billion web pages, it has many different meanings... microsoft windows and your house or car windows are about as far apart in meaning as you can get.

Let't get with some contests that are real challenges.

It should be obvious to everyone that these are transparent attempts to drive viral traffic. These domains will be for sale as soon as the stats have any decent volumes to reflect.

Affiliates have long beat out seo traffic for revenue makers.
