Has anyone ever gone into a website as a partner? I did this once and it was the worst experience of my life. There were three of us that came up with a great idea and each had their own specialties.

However, the other two were close friends and I was sort of a newbie in the crew. This caused no end of problems when trying to decide how it should look and what should be added.

The partnership soon broke up and I went my separate way.

Never again will I do it in triple partner form.

Here's an even worse idea.... get a client where you are flat rating a job that is never happy with the design.

I think flat rate can be pain in the behind. I usually end up getting slightly less out of the deal that way. As far as partnership I work better on my own. There are few occassions when it does work out just not often.
