I know that in poker forums there are free forum boards set up that you can use as your forum. All you have to do is put in the Headings you want and the threads you need for people to be able to start putting in comments, questions, etc.

Is there such a thing for a selling site? I have never seen one nor have I heard of one but does anyone know if this beast exists?

Are you talking about a shopping cart solution or some sort of a forum for eCommerce? There are free shopping cart solutions out there and I'm sure there are templates for "selling sites". There are definitely out of the box PHP scripts that will do it, but I think you have to pay for most of them.

Are you looking for the phpBB equivalent of an e-commerce program? I know what you're talking about, I'm pretty sure with cPanel hosting packages they offer a nice program like that.

Are the selling sites like products or something? I haven't really seen a direct sale site with a forum.

I guess if you have your own site you could find a free or cheap way to set up your own forum. Check out a few forums and see what they are using.

I know with the hosting company I'm with, a phpBB forum is available for my site at no extra cost.

yeah, I use siteground.com for my phpBB stuff. They're cheap and efficient. I also found their service to be top notch with very quick responses to my questions and issues.
