Are floppies still manufactured, I wonder? Thinking back to the days of the old 5.25" flexible floppy disks that held 360k, is almost like a dream, and yet it wasn't that long ago really! Amazing. I remember the first IBM compatible I bought back in the 80's had a 20MB hard drive, and the vendor told me I'd never fill it. LOL.

I know that one can still buy stiffy drives, but I'm sure that the old big floppy drives are long out of production. I could be wrong, but I'm sure that it's probably not worth anyones while to keep turning them out. Demand is probably non-existent. Question is whether the 5.25" floppy disks themselves are still produced? Doubt that too though. Unlike vinyl records they will never make a comeback, no matter how good the marketing ploys. LOL.
