Wordpress is looking like the popular blog tool of choice. It's clean and simple. How many of you have used wordpress?I find the templates for the custom designs I want are too expensive.

I gave up on scripts and went to blogger with the ftp to my domain option.Seemed to avoid dealing with someone else's script. Quick and easy.

Can you expand on how that relates to the Wordpress option?

It would be an alternative to using wordpress or another script.

When I get my new domain I'm going to use WordPress. I like the clean, simple style, how everything is laid out very nice. So nice.

I have used wordpress and really like it. I do still have one a blogger though. I can't complain about either one but I do prefer wordpress.

I haven't used it before. I have heard good things about it. I am getting ready to start a new niche blog. I am going to have to check it out.

I'm on blogger now and am used to it, so I'm not sure if I really want to make the switch or not. Was the transition easy for any of you who switched from blogger to wordpress?

I am using wordpress for the first time now. I need to figure out what the different plugins are and what I will be needing, but the general installation and features seem excellent. I think it's an excellent choice for a blogging solution especially if you want to host the blog on your own site.

I've started messing around with Wordpress myself and love the different plugins that are available. It will definitely help me in the future once I figure out what type of template I want to use. (there's too many to choose from!)

Marcia - what blogging platform were you using before? I am thinking of switching but want to make sure that it's not going to be too difficult.
