Yahoo lately is way too full of ads. This one animation of these people dancing around is actually an ad for a refinance company for a mortgage loan. Could anything motivate me less to share my personal credit and financial history than a couple of weird dancing silhouettes and dollar signs?

There is way too much advertising emphasis at Yahoo.

You login, get the advertising for whatever feature they want on the login page. Then you get an "inbox" page, which is regularly staggered so you can get a look at the ads.

I am starting to wonder if all the spam getting in doesn't have a reason......

I guess they make money at the expense of their users. Probably not the wisest business decision, but they're so big they probably really don't have to worry about it.

I think it is possible. Since they don't really charge users for much they have to make a profit somehow. I usually don't pay it much attention when I log on anymore. I guess I have gotten used to it.

Is it really? I know what you're talking about. All I ever noticed was the people dancing I didn't even read the ad. I have seen this alot on other sites as well. I guess it is the trend to make money.
