Anyone advertise using myspace bulletins? I have heard of people collecting well over 500 friends just so they can mass advertise on the bulletins. Has anyone tried this before? Does it even work?

Well, I have had a few friends start up "MySpace" and invited me to join. As a friend trying to join I found it very complicated because in order to join their space I had to start my own first which really wasn't in my plans.

Also once you do that you end up getting e-mails or notes from people that you really don't want to have affiliated on your Space.

I'm not enamoured by them at all. The best thing to do though if you are interested is to join a "MySpace" from someone you know is already there and take a look at your options and see if it really is something that will help you in your business.

I found most of the stuff ended up with Sex Pictures of people I didn't know and couldn't care less about.

I have had the same experience with MySpace in that I was invited to bring my story to a friends space and I didn't know that by registering with the site I would be ending up in my own "MySpace". I wasn't appreciative of that.

In fact, I never did find her space and couldn't even be bothered trying to find it.

I am not a myspace fan at all. I joined it but never used it much. I kept getting spammed with friend requests and other junk. I eventually just closed the account.
